Her love of storytelling began long before Outfox, rooted in a fascination with courage, belonging, hidden patterns, and the quiet ways people discover their strength through one another. She is especially drawn to stories where friendship, loyalty, restraint, and emotional truth matter just as much as power.
Marissa coauthored Outfox with her son, Zachary, blending their shared love of fantasy, adventure, gaming, and worldbuilding into the creation of Zenith Academy and Team Gale. Together, they built a story centered not on destiny or domination, but on connection, trust, and the courage to become who you truly are.
When she is not writing, Marissa works in technology leadership, spends time with her family, and continues dreaming up new worlds and stories waiting to be explored.
